PRIVACY POLICY PURSUANT TO ART. 13 OF

(EU) REGULATION 2016/679

 

 

This privacy policy describes the operations carried out on the personal data of users collected from the site during:

 

  • access and/or registration

  • requests for information

 

The policy is provided, also pursuant to art. 13 of the European Regulation on the protection of personal data, to those who interact with the web services of Alubel S.p.A., accessible online through the following web addresses:

The policy is provided only for the Alubel S.p.A. site and not for other websites possibly consulted by a user through links.

 

DATA CONTROLLER

Data relating to identified or identifiable persons may be treated further to consultation of this site.

Alubel S.p.A., with registered office in Bagnolo in Piano (RE) in via Torricelli 8, VAT no. 01206600353 is the Data Controller of the personal data of users collected during use of the Services of the Site. Alubel S.p.A. shall process personal data for the following purposes:

  • Processing for the purpose of access and registration to the site

  • Processing of the data for forwarding newsletters

  • Processing data for the purpose of assistance/customer care

 

TYPES OF DATA TREATED

Browsing data.

The computer systems and the software procedures used for the operation of this website acquire specific personal data during their normal functioning in the browser, and the transmission of these data is implied in the use of Internet communication protocols.

This information is not collected in order to be associated with identified data subjects, but by virtue of its nature could allow the identification of users through processes and associations with data held by third parties.

This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users who access the site, the URI addresses (Uniform Resource Identifier) of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the dimension of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the state of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and to the user's information technology environment.

This data is used solely for the purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical data about the use of the site and to check its correct operation. They are immediately cancelled after their processing. The data may be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of possible data processing offences damaging the site: with the exception of this possibility, the data on web contacts currently do not persist for more than seven days.

Data provided voluntarily by the user

The optional, explicit and voluntary forwarding of electronic mail sent to the addresses indicated on this site involves the subsequent acquisition of the sender's e-mail address, which is necessary for responding to requests, as well as any other personal data specified in the message.

Specific summarized information notices will be from time to time reported or displayed on the site pages relating to specific services provided on request.

 

OPTIONAL PROVISION OF DATA

Apart from what is specified for surfing data, the user is free to provide personal data if requested in specific sections of the site. The failed provision of said data may imply the impossibility of obtaining what is requested. This policy indicates, for each type of processing, the consequences of any refusal to provide personal data.

 

REDIRECTING TOWARDS EXTERNAL SITES

This website can use so-called “social plug-ins”. “Social plug-ins” are special tools that make it possible to incorporate the functions of the Social Network directly inside the website. All the “social plug-ins” in the site are marked by the respective logo of ownership of the social network platform.

When you visit a page on our site and interact with a “plug-in” or decide to leave a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted by the browser directly to the relevant social network platform (e.g. Facebook) and stored by it.

PROCESSING METHODS

Personal data shall be processed by computerized means and during time periods that are strictly necessary for the achievement of the purposes for which such data has been collected.

Specific security measures are observed to prevent the loss of data, illicit or incorrect use and non-authorized access.

 

THE PROCESSING OF DATA FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACCESS AND REGISTRATION TO THE SITE

Alubel S.p.A. shall process the user’s personal data in order to permit registration to the Site and the use of services reserved to registered users, including the possibility of registering to the  newsletter.

The legal basis for the aforementioned processing is the user’s fulfilment and consent, to be expressed freely in the contact form. For this purpose, the data shall be processed for the time strictly necessary for the performance of the individual processing operations. Alubel S.p.A. may, however, store the data for the purposes and for the maximum periods of storage as set out in this privacy policy or in the specific cases laid down by the Regulation and/or by law.

For these purposes, Alubel S.p.A. shall process the personal data of users in order to:

  • Permit the user to access the Site and browse in it

  • Permit the user to register to the Site, creating an account, and to use the services reserved to registered users

 

  • Permit the user to access the Site and browse as a logged-in user, recognising the user independently of the device used

  • Maintain and manage the user’s account

  • Store data and information in the user’s account

  • Manage a possible subscription to the newsletter.

The provision of data for the purposes in question is optional. Since processing is necessary, however, for permitting access to the Site and/or browsing and/or registration and/or the provision of account management and maintenance services, failed communication of the data shall make it impossible for the user to access and/or browse on the Site and/or register to the Site and to use the services reserved to registered users.  

 

PROCESSING OF DATA FOR SENDING NEWSLETTERS

Subject to the data subject’s consent, to be provided freely before forwarding the contact form, Alubel S.p.A. shall process the personal data of the user in order to send them informative and promotional communications with reference to its products and/or services, as well as for direct sales purposes or for the carrying out of market research, via  e-mail.

The legal basis of this processing is the user’s express consent.

The user may withdraw their consent given at any time and/or oppose, at any time, the processing for their data for marketing purposes:

The provision of data for marketing purposes is optional and the data shall be processed until withdrawal of consent and/or the exercise of the right of opposition to processing both with the methods described in this document, and through the link present in every communication.

 

PROCESSING OF DATA FOR THE PURPOSE OF ASSISTANCE/CUSTOMER CARE

Alubel S.p.A. shall process the data of users for the general activity of assistance and customer care and, therefore, to respond to requests for information received from users or to respond to complaints, reports and disputes.

The legal basis for this processing is the user’s consent, to be given freely before the forwarding of the form for the data collection.

The user has the right to withdraw consent and/or to oppose the processing of personal data relating to them for the purposes in question by contacting Alubel S.p.A.:

In the event of opposition, Alubel S.p.A. shall refrain from further processing of the personal data of users for said purpose, except in the event of the existence of legitimate cogent reasons to proceed with the processing that prevail over the interests and rights and freedoms of the data subject or for the verification, exercise or defense of a right in court.

The provision of personal data for the purpose in question is optional. Failed communication of the data and/or the exercise of the right of opposition may, however, make it impossible to respond to users’ requests and/or reports and/or complaints and/or disputes, in the event the response to said requests implies the processing of the user’s personal data.

For this purpose, Alubel S.p.A. shall process the user’s data for the time necessary for the performance of the requested operation.

 

RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

Pursuant to the provisions of arts. 15-21 of EU Regulation 2016/679, the persons to whom the personal data refer have the right, at any time, to obtain confirmation of the existence or not of said data and to know the content and origin, to verify their exactness or request their integration or updating or their rectification.

Users also have the right to request the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or the blocking of data processed in breach of the law, as well as to oppose their processing, in all events, for legitimate motives.
